How do I add GlossGenius booking to Google?

Estheticians, lash artists and stylists who book through GlossGenius2 min readSeptember 2026

The short answer

On GlossGenius's Gold and Platinum plans, use Reserve with Google. It's in the app under Settings, Booking Controls, Google Booking & Reviews, and it puts a Book Online button on your Google Business Profile. GlossGenius says not to add your booking address to the profile by hand as well, because the button won't appear if you do. Without the integration, Google lets you add a booking link yourself.

There are two ways, and they don’t mix

Reserve with Google. GlossGenius connects to Google and a Book Online button appears on your Google Business Profile, linking to your booking site. GlossGenius’s help article lists it on the Gold and Platinum plans.

A link you add yourself. Google’s Business Profile has a Booking section where you can paste in a booking address.

GlossGenius’s article has a note that’s easy to miss. It says not to add your GlossGenius address to your Google Business Profile by hand, because the Book Online button won’t appear if you do. So pick one. If your plan has the integration, use it and leave the link out.

I read both companies’ help pages in September 2026.

First, a Google Business Profile

Both ways need one. GlossGenius says the profile has to be active, and its details have to match the information in your GlossGenius account. If you haven’t claimed yours, getting clients as an esthetician goes through it.

With the integration

GlossGenius lists what has to be true first:

  • Online booking is turned on in GlossGenius.
  • Clients can cancel appointments online.
  • The address on your Google Business Profile matches the address in your Reserve with Google settings.
  • Your services have descriptions.

It also says a service with a hidden price is left out of the list shown on Google.

GlossGenius says the setting is on by default. To check it, in the mobile app:

  1. Tap Settings, then Booking Controls.
  2. Tap Google Booking & Reviews, then Reserve with Google.
  3. Enter your business details, and confirm they match your Google Business Profile.

GlossGenius says the integration updates every 24 hours. Google says booking providers show up on a profile within a week.

If the button doesn’t appear

  • Look in your profile’s Booking section for a link added by hand. If your GlossGenius address is in there, take it out.
  • Compare the two addresses. The one on your Google Business Profile and the one in your Reserve with Google settings have to match.
  • Wait 48 hours after each change. That’s the time GlossGenius gives for changes to show on Google.

Without the integration

Google lets you add a booking link yourself. In your Business Profile, choose Booking, click Add link, paste your GlossGenius address and save. Your address is in the GlossGenius app under Settings, Website, Share Website.

Google says performance data isn’t available for links you add this way.

If you move to a plan with the integration later, take the link out first.

Turning it off

In the app, go to Settings, Booking Controls, Reserve with Google, and switch off Enable Reserve with Google. GlossGenius says the button can take 48 hours to come off Google.

If you have your own website too

Put your website in the profile’s website field, and let the integration handle booking. The Book buttons on your site are a separate job, covered in adding GlossGenius booking to your website.

If you’d rather hand the profile over, Google Business Profile optimization is part of The Refresh, at $600, and The Full Bloom, at $1,000. The free audit on the home page recognizes a GlossGenius address, so you can run yours through it first.

Follow-ups

The questions this usually leads to

Same rule as above: short answers, no hedging. If yours isn't here, just ask.

Why isn't my GlossGenius Book Online button showing on Google?

Check three things GlossGenius lists. Your booking address shouldn't be added to your Google Business Profile by hand, because GlossGenius says the button won't appear if it is. The address on your profile has to match the one in your Reserve with Google settings. And clients have to be able to book and cancel online. GlossGenius says changes can take 48 hours to show.

Which GlossGenius plans include Reserve with Google?

GlossGenius's help article lists it on the Gold and Platinum plans. That article was last updated in September 2025, so check their pricing page for the current plans.

Should I put my GlossGenius link in my Google Business Profile?

Only if you aren't using the Reserve with Google integration. With the integration on, GlossGenius says a booking address added by hand stops the Book Online button from appearing. Without it, Google's Booking section lets you add the link yourself.

How long does the Book Online button take to appear?

GlossGenius says its Google integration updates every 24 hours, and that changes can take 48 hours to show. Google says booking providers show up on a profile within a week.
