How do I add Acuity Scheduling to my Wix site?

What Acuity says about Wix

Acuity’s help center has an article on adding Acuity to a website, with tips for particular builders. I read it in September 2026. Its Wix section says three things:

• Follow Wix’s steps for adding the HTML element, and paste in the code Acuity generates.
• It isn’t possible to embed the scheduler if you’re using Wix ADI instead of the editor.
• If the frame holding the scheduler is shorter than the scheduler, some mobile devices may glitch during booking. Use the Wix mobile editor to drag the bottom of the frame down until the entire scheduler is visible, and keep it visible throughout the booking process.

1. Get the embed code from Acuity

1. In Acuity, click Scheduling Page, then Link.
2. In the Direct links and embedding section, use the drop-down menu to choose your default scheduler or a more specific one, such as one calendar or one appointment type.
3. Click the Embed Scheduler tab, or Embed Other. Acuity says only one of the two appears.
4. Copy the code.

2. Paste it into Wix’s Embed HTML element

These steps are from Wix’s help center, read in September 2026.

1. In the editor, click Add Elements on the left.
2. Click Embed Code, then Popular Embeds, then Embed HTML.
3. Click the element on your page, click Enter Code, paste Acuity’s code under Add your code here, and click Apply.

Wix says the HTML element is an iframe, so the scheduler inside won’t be responsive, and that content with a fixed pixel size can be cropped if the frame is smaller than it. That’s the same problem Acuity’s mobile note is about, so after you place it, open the Wix mobile editor and make the frame tall enough.

Wix also says it can’t support code it didn’t create. Acuity’s article says the exact steps vary by provider and to contact your website builder, so the two point at each other. Test it in Wix’s Preview mode and on a phone.

3. Or link a button to it

A button is simpler and doesn’t involve a frame. In Acuity, click Scheduling Page, then Link, and copy your scheduling page link. In Wix, click the button, click the Link icon, choose Web address, paste the link and click Done.

For a treatment page, Acuity can give you a link that opens one appointment type. In the same Link panel, choose the appointment type from the drop-down menu, open the Direct Link tab and copy it. Acuity says this option doesn’t appear if you only have one appointment type and calendar.

Acuity also generates code for a booking button and a booking bar, and says to add it to your website’s code. Wix says none of its embed tools give you access to your site’s HTML, so on Wix that code would go in the same Embed HTML element, which is a frame. A booking bar is meant to sit across the bottom of the page, and I wouldn’t expect it to do that from inside a frame. For a button, I’d use Wix’s own with the link above.

Instagram and Google
